I have spent nearly 20 years designing, building and transforming large-scale infrastructure platforms across telecommunications, cloud services and pharmaceuticals. I spent the first decade of my career in Türkiye, building deep expertise in Unix and Linux systems, virtualization, storage and enterprise infrastructure — including delivering a country’s first 4.5G mobile platform — before relocating to Ireland to gain international experience. Throughout, I have stayed technically hands-on while progressively moving into engineering leadership.

Over the past several years I have progressed through infrastructure and site-reliability leadership roles within a highly regulated multinational environment — from leading a Unix and Cloud SRE team, to senior management of cloud operations, to directing globally distributed teams responsible for mission-critical services. Much of that work has been done in close partnership with engineering and automation organisations to improve reliability, scalability and operational efficiency across a large hybrid estate delivered largely through outsourced partners.

Along the way I have led complex technology initiatives: large-scale data-centre migrations, infrastructure modernization, virtualization platforms, technology-refresh programmes and enterprise automation transformations. More recently I led a large operational-efficiency programme that cut operational workload by over 40% ahead of schedule while generating multi-million-dollar savings through automation and process simplification, migrated a costly vendor automation platform in-house to reduce dependency and improve maintainability, and drove AI-assisted engineering initiatives to modernize operations and surface new automation opportunities.
